Hello May | Mind, Body, & Soul Goals

It's crazy that May is and here and will soon be gone just like that. But in other good news, the spring semester is finally over and now I'm trying to decided if I want to go to summer school or just sit this one out and just be ready come fall. Since I decided to take on a few more classes to 1. get a ahead of the game for when I get ready to transfer and 2. I want to better my GPA. A 2.6 is bad but could definitely do better and remind to never take more classes than what I can handle.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet.

So the word for this month is
grateful- (adjective) feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful

Mind- Stop doubting my greatness.

This title may sound familiar and I'm sure you all heard of the book "Your A Badass: How to start doubting your greatness and live an awesome life" by Jen Sincero. In my head Jen had literally became my BFF and knows what she talking about it. A lot of the topics she touched has definitely hit home for me but also serves as a constant reminder about me goals and what I want to accomplish. If you haven't read this book yet you should. I'm almost finished and if you have read this book how would you rate it?

Body- Creating a meal plan and cutting back on the "eating out".

Spring semester I fell off my rocker completely with juggling classes and working overnight. So taking care of myself was at the bottom of my list and my eating habits definitely suffered after a year of doing so good and cutting a lot of things from my diet. My goal is to get back to that point.

Soul- Spiritual Feeding.

When it comes to "religion" or "faith" or any other words you would like to insert here, it intimidates me more than what I let people know about me. I haven't been to church in like.... forever and the only times that I went, were times when I spent with my grandma during the summer, family functions, or in support of a friend. My relationship with GOD isn't the best and being scared to say that to people I was ashamed but as I get older, I realize it's nothing to be ashamed about, I just have to take the steps to want that relationship..... so why don't I you ask? Good question that I can't even answer but one thing I do know is that I want to change it.

What are some of your goals you wish to share for this month?
