Hello June | Mind, Body, & Soul Goals

Pretty much June marks half of the year being gone and another reminder that 6 more months before 2016 ends and we're back to starting a new year again. Is it just me or does it seem that after I had hit 25 years of living everything has been fast paced from there, life, time, etc. Let's not dwell on this but to only remind us that we have 6 more months to achieve our goals and make sh!t happen before 2016 ends (inserts hashtag #summersixteen).

The word for this month is:
gratitude- (noun) the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and return kindness.

Mind- Forgiving my past.

Lately I've been having a lot of downtime and I've been writing in my journal a lot. I've come to realize that I have yet to forgive myself about my past. Let me explain..... We move on thinking we are fine only to be reminded that we are not and we clearly haven't fully recovered. I've hit that point and I went M.I.A for a bit. I kinda just checked out!?!! In order to move on to the next step you have to forgive and it sets you free in more ways than one.

Body- Consistency with meal planning and exercise.

So this past weekend I created a meal eating plan and started and finished my detoxing. Let's pray that I keep this up and I've started exercising finally!! I've found it very easy to log everything down so I can keep track of everything. I know we live a electronic kind of world but I'm just a pen and notebook type of gal.

Soul- Spiritual Feeding.

This was my goal from last month and I'm going to make it my goal for this month. This walk is harder than I realize or am I making it harder on myself? Now that's food for thought! You can recap here to read my "soul" from my May Goals.

As a sidenote I can't believe I'm coming up on my one year anniversary on the 8th. I've never made it to a year on any of my past blogging sites due to frequent change but I'm finally happy and still happy with branding of this little blog here. A little face lift is over due and I've decided that I will be combining my blog and my portfolio all in one. So I have been looking into other site to host both but that's for another blog post.

#Summersixteen is already here. Share some of your goals with me!
