Bucket List 2017



This year I have a lot to lose and gain. I feel like I've spent this past months planning for something that's going to happen and I have no idea what it is yet but you just always want to be ready right?

I was told anything that you want to make happen is literally up to you on how you make the most of it, so let's make the most of it! I have little bucket list...... some goals I feel that I can achieve easily and some will come with a challenge but that's the whole point. Traveling is something big that I want to do for 2017 even if it is exploring within the United States and working my way up to going internationally but what I have to overcome is the idea that I may have to explore by myself.... silly right? They say best experiences are when you do travel by yourself and I plan to test those waters.




On to the bucket list:

Travel List 2017:

  • Seattle, Washington
  • New York City ( this is number one for me)
  • Phoenix, Arizona
  • Chicago, Illinois 
  • San Fransisco, California
Now my goal when traveling to San Fran, is to ride down the PCH all the way to LA like I did with my family when I was little when we were stationed out there. This is more of re-creating a memory. These are just some of my major cities I want to go to but now since the NMAAHC another trip to DC is a must plus more I gotta explore the the DMV.



Activities:


  • Visting the NMAAHC
  • Start back investing in my 401 (k)
  • Putting more in my savings
  • Take myself on date more often
  • Take advantage of my gym membership
  • Visting the Grand Canyon
  • Sky Diving
  • Visting Yosemite National Park
  • Graduate 
  • Attend first NFL & NBA game
  • Read more
  • Become less of an introvert
  • Lastly but not least, re-pair this relationship I have going on with GOD


Things to cut back on or stop:

  • Coffee - Drinking more than 2 cups isn't good so I'm cutting back to 1 cup per day.
  • Going out to eat- I think everyone can relate to this, meal prepping is something i've been getting into for the past couple of months but I'm going to kick it up a notch. Limiting myself to eating out twice a month, maybe three times as a treat of an accomplishment lol.
  • Worry and stress less- I worry and stress to much and sometimes over the smallest of things, I'm getting a little better but I have to remember to breath first and just take it one at time.
  • Procrastination- I am the QUEEN of this and it's something this past semester I'm not proud of. It's only some procrastination will take you and once you procrastinate in all of your classes there is no coming back... or how I felt anyways. I want to change this and actually be persistent with everything that I do this year.
